It is a report from Ade who flies away to Aceh from Jakarta based on support from
Shinyukai. Ade is a elder brother of Fachrurrozi, one of families of us who learns in Doshisha University while working at Nishihagi Noodle MFG. LTD.

This is my last e-mail transmission
from Jakarta city. I will go to Aceh on 06.00 mornings 1 January and come back on 7 January. Very difficult to buy ticket to Aceh right now, I just got lucky to have friends who help me.
Mr. Helmi Mahera Almujahid will give me the accommodation in Banda Aceh.
He warns many things, mostly the unstable area of Banda Aceh. Hungry citizens, dead body everywhere, initial symptom of disease started seen in various areas etc.
But still, I determined to go there, on behalf of Sensei’s name and spirit.
Mr. Hendarmin called me. He told me that
he was called by Mr. Nakajima from Tokyo and informed him about the changing on agreement between Japan and US.
The first agreement was to divide the area of focused on the aids. Japan giving aids to Indonesia, and other place like
Sri Lanka was taking care of by USA and Australia. But suddenly US gave Japanese the pressure to converting the first deal. So Indonesia will be taking care of by the US and Australia.
Mr. Nakajima analyses that as first step of US domination over very strategic Straits of Malacca. And to give their excuse to their 15 battleship in this area. As you all know, Japanese Government officially give our Naval forces a weapon aids to control the piracy. Looks like US are not content with Japan move in this region.
I hope that your organization aids still direct to Indonesia, with Government channel or thru independent channel.
I will continuously send the journal everyday if the technical condition permits.

これは、僕がジャカルタから送る最後のメールです。僕は元旦の朝6時にアチェへ発って、7日に戻って来る予定です。アチェ行きのチケットを入手するのは今とても困難なんですが、僕は友人の助けを借りて幸運にも手に入れることが出来ました。
アルムジャヒドさんが宿泊場所を紹介してくれるのですが、彼は、そこはバンダ・アチェでもっとも政情不安な地域で、飢えた人々、死体がいたるところに転がり、感染症の兆候もあちこちで見受けられるのだと忠告してくれました。
でも、僕はそこへ行く決心をしました。晃月スピリットの代表として・・・。
今日、東京の中島先生からの連絡で、日米間の協定が変更されたと聞きました。
最初の協定では、日本がインドネシアを、スリランカなど他の場所をアメリカとオーストラリアが援助すると言うものでした。
しかし、突然にアメリカは日本に圧力をかけて最初の分担を交換せよと迫ったので、インドネシアはアメリカとオーストラリアの援助を受けることになったのです。
中島先生はこれを、マラッカ海峡の上でアメリカが優位となる第一歩のため、１５の戦艦を配置する口実としての非常に戦略的なことと分析しておられます。ご存知の通り、日本政府は公式にインドネシアの海軍に、海賊を制するための武器を支援しています。アメリカなどは、この領域での日本のこうした動きを快く思ってないのです。
僕は、皆さんからの援助が、政府からでも、独自の団体からでもいいので、インドネシアに送ってもらえたらと思っています。
